This serves to illustrate the importance of consent when engaging in any sexual contact. Casual sex SHOULD be negotiated and agreed upon before it starts. Thats just responsible behavior for both genders. False accusations are serious, and should not be supported. I personally can't fathom how a person could do that to another. The answer might not be prosecution or mental treatment, but both.

Videotaping is one of those things that needs to be negotiated. In this case, yes, it was good that someone had evidence. In any other circumstance though, that would have been a huge violation of her ( and the other mens) rights (and just CREEPY, I mean, its still creepy, but at least its been used for good) . Because of the backlash that can face people, women especially, with sex tapes or pictures, this is something you can't do without consent.

Perhaps there would be less regret amongst women engaging in casual sex if there was less social stigma involved for women engaging in casual sex. If men are not stigmatized, why should women be?
