Virginia has been home to Cindy Rushing for over thirty years. She enjoyed being a military wife while her husband served twenty years as a naval officer. Married 36 years, they are parents to three sons and one daughter. Their daughter had the pleasure of being an intern here at the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute while she was in college.

Cindy founded and led the Clifton Chapter of the Virginia Liberty Project, is a founding member of the Republican Women of Clifton, and serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Old Dominion Cotillion. She worked for 14 years as an Administrative Assistant in an Accounting Firm and for several years as a Sales Associate. Born and raised in Illinois, Cindy graduated from Joliet Junior College.

Cindy had been a frequent attendee at the Conservative Women’s Network luncheons before joining the CBLPI team in 2013 as a Development Officer.  She knows from personal experience the positive influence that this organization has on encouraging, preparing and promoting our young Conservative women in the world today. She became CBLPI’s Development Director in 2016.
