Camille Hart joined the Luce Policy Institute in April 2007. Prior to her work at the Institute, Camille spent two years as a Public Affairs Specialist at the Pentagon in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, serving under both Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Secretary Robert Gates.
Camille grew up in the Texas town of Burleson and attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. It was while in college she became involved in the conservative movement and completed several internships. At 19, she became one of the youngest interns to work at the White House in the fall of 2002. After graduating with honors from TCU, Camille moved to Washington, D.C. to work as Media Coordinator for the State Department’s G8 Summit.
During the 2004 Presidential campaign she joined the College Republican National Committee as a Field Representative, spending months traveling across college campuses where she organized, trained, and motivated students to become involved in the political process and stand up for conservative principles.
