Amanda Collins is a director of Women for Concealed Carry, where she advocates for women’s rights to self-defense. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and English.
As a Second Amendment advocate, Amanda has worked tirelessly to ensure women across the United States are given the ability to choose how to protect themselves, particularly on college campuses. Because of Amanda’s effort, more and more women are able to protect themselves in ways that Amanda was not when she became a rape victim while a student at the University of Nevada, Reno. Amanda has appeared on NRA’s Cam and Friends, Glenn Beck, Fox and Friends, Judge Jeanine andMegan Kelly, sharing both her personal story and her advocacy experiences with law makers.
While her legislative efforts are what she has become publicly known for, her most impressive accomplishment is her family. Amanda is a loving wife and mother of two beautiful young daughters, Annabelle and Penelope.
